Heading to Hungary for the weekend....

Wrote this cause I didn't know....
The colors of the Hungarian flag were mentioned in a 1608 coronation ceremony, but they may have been used since the 13th century. The tricolor was adopted on Oct. 12, 1957, after the abortive revolution of 1956. The white is said to symbolize Hungary's rivers, the green its mountains, and the red the blood shed in its many battles.

St. Stephen I received his crown and the double cross from Pope Silvester II in 1000. As a Christian king, he established the Hungarian Church with ten dioceses and the royal administration of the country that was divided into counties (comitatus or vármegye). Hungary became a patrimonial kingdom where the majority of the land was the private property of the ruler. In 1083, he was canonized along with his son, Imre of Hungary.

KNUT the polar bear: Famous Face in Berlin

was born at the Zoologischer Garten Berlin on 5 December 2006- is a captive-born polar bear that was the subject of international popularity and controversy. After being rejected by his mother at birth, he was raised by zoo keepers and has since become a popular tourist attraction and commercial success.
Recently he has been put on a diet cause he was eating treats such as pizza and croissants. The Berlin Zoo registered Knut as a trademark in late March 2007. As a result its shares at the Berlin Stock Exchange have more than doubled since then.

Here are the bedrooms...

The lovely kitchen...

This is a shot from my kitchen as well. I am on the top floor and have many stairs to climb. But hey check out that view.

Ahhh the cupboards and refrigerator. Cause you need to see those. This is where my food goes.

The piano...to refresh my skillllz.

The funky closet....

This is my closet that hides behind the doors/art.

This is my high tech alarm. ha. well In photoshop maybe it looks high tech but I think it's about 20 years old. But hey... does the job. No complaints.

The next photos-- I got a little photoshop crazed. This is my desk in my room.

So this picture is outside my kitchen window. Storch looks like cute little restaurant only I have no clue cause I went there by myself and no one would wait on me. I waited for 20 minutes and then just left. I must have smelled bad.

Me and Bjorn

So Erika and Missy gave me Mr. Turtle to travel with and I just named him "Bjorn"-- thought it might make him feel more at home. Only I'm sure his name is like "Ralph" or "Michaelangelo" or something.
